During the 2025–2026 season, Valerie Eickhoff made a series of major debuts, notably in the United States in the role of Idamante in Mozart’s Idomeneo with Boston Baroque. She returned to the Bavarian State Opera in the role of Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro. A member of the Dresden Semperoper company since the 2024–2025 season, her highlights for the 2025–2026 season included her debuts in the roles of Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Kay in Abrahamsen’s The Snow Queen and Anaide in Rota’s Il cappello di paglia di Firenze, as well as her returns to the roles of Stéphano in Romeo and Juliet, Nicoletta in The Love for Three Oranges and the title role in Hänsel und Gretel.

Eickhoff recently gave a brilliant performance in Bach’s St Matthew Passion (conducted by Andreas Reize) with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, in Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn (conducted by Emmanuel Tjeknavorian) with the Orchestra della Toscana, in Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and in Respighi’s Il Tramonto with the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester in Mannheim, amongst others.
