Recognized as one of the most daring pianists and conductors of his generation, David Greilsammer is acclaimed for his visionary artistic projects, innovative interpretations, and commitment to building bridges between the arts, genres, and cultures.

Released on the Naïve label, his latest solo album, Labyrinth, received more than ten international awards and was praised by the press as “ radical ” and “ courageous ”. His other recent albums, released by Sony Classical, have earned numerous international distinctions and awards, including recognition from The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Sunday Times.

Music and Artistic Director of the Geneva Camerata, David Greilsammer has also served as Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra in Colombia. In recent years, he has appeared as both conductor and soloist with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony, the Symphoniker Hamburg, the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Chile. Acclaimed for his interpretations of Mozart’s works, David Greilsammer made headlines in Paris by performing all of Mozart’s piano sonatas in a single marathon day and more recently by conducting all twenty-seven Mozart piano concertos from his piano, over the course of nine consecutive concerts.

His solo recitals have been presented at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Lincoln Center in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, Wigmore Hall in London, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Verbier Festival, the Venice Biennale, and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. After making his debut as conductor and soloist at the Philharmonie de Paris, David Greilsammer will tour Europe, Latin America, and Japan this season, alongside the international release of his new solo album Dance or Die.

Deeply committed to humanitarian causes through music, David Greilsammer creates annual social and educational projects in collaboration with various associations and NGOs for underprivileged children in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
